Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion treatments utilize a diamond hand-held wand to gently exfoliate the outer layer of dead skin, thus leaving your skin with a visibly softer, smoother appearance. It also allows skin care products to penetrate to deeper layers, restoring luminosity for healthier, younger looking skin.
Treatments can be done on all skin types with no down time. You can literally go back to your daily activities looking refreshed and feeling great about your glowing skin. This treatment can also be used in conjunction with other medical spa treatments, or as a standalone treatment, based on your individual needs. For the best results your aesthetician may recommend a series of treatments.
Facials
The natural process of aging, wind and sun exposure can take a toll on the exposed skin of your face, leaving it blotchy, lined, tired looking and wrinkled.
While relaxing, facials performed at Face Cosmedics Medical Spa are also designed to treat your skin condition from acne, to dry and dull skin as well as fine lines and wrinkles.
Good skin care can dramatically reduce the tell-tale signs of facial aging. As part of a comprehensive skin care regime we offer non-invasive, customized, medical-grade facials, thoughtfully designed for your specific facial needs.
Most patients find that they benefit most from receiving a facial every 6-8 weeks.
All of our facials are geared towards your skincare needs and goals. There is no need to choose a specific one prior to your appointment as we know that it can be confusing.
We offer medical grade exfoliating, hydrating/antiaging facials as well as clarifying facials for oily/acne prone skin.
We also offer facial treatments geared towards lightening and brightening, and dealing with skin conditions such as hyperpigmentation, rosacea
Acne Treatments
Affecting millions of people, acne is a medical issue that can be effectively treated both by treatments and targeted acne products. Acne vulgaris, the most common form of acne, is characterized by inflamed lesions (pimples) caused by obstructed sebaceous glands (which secret oil to lubricated skin and hair follicles), leading to an overgrowth of acne causing bacteria.
Acne can present as pimples or larger nodules and cysts on areas such as the face, neck, back, chest, shoulders and arms in both adolescents and adults. Left untreated, acne can cause significant scarring.
Our highly trained medical estheticians are proud to offer a variety of effective treatments for all forms of acne. We have the knowledge and skills to help you get the lovely, smooth skin you have always dreamed of.
