Hyperhidrosis

Botox for Underarm Sweating

Sweating is a normal body function in response to warm temperatures, exercise, and emotional situations. Everyone sweats, but quality of life can be seriously affected for those men and women who suffer from excessive sweating (a medical condition known as Hyperhidrosis). Day to day activities and social interactions are interrupted by the thought of this often-embarrassing condition.
Take control of excessive sweating and regain your confidence. If you’ve ever felt embarrassed to high five, hold hands or wear white shirts, you know how hyperhidrosis can impact your quality of life. It doesn’t have to be hot for hyperhidrosis sufferers to sweat through clothing. Excessive sweating can happen anywhere on the body, but it mostly affects the armpits, hands, feet, groin, and face. Many people who suffer from hyperhidrosis avoid talking to a healthcare professional about their condition, but with the help of the right practitioner, hyperhidrosis can be successfully managed.

If excessive sweating has you constantly changing clothes, choosing clothes that won’t reveal sweat stains, or avoiding handshakes, then you may be one of the 910,000 Canadians who are affected by Hyperhidrosis.
